This Friday is a big day: I'm moving from Chicago to Madison, Wisconsin, where my partner Julian lives. We've been long-distance for years, and are so looking forward to being together for summer bike rides and cooking dinner together (not to mention no more commuting on the weekends).
Moves always involve changes beyond the geographical, of course. I'm stepping away from Zero Waste Chicago, but will continue to show up here on Litterless and in the zero waste community in Madison, too.
If you live in Madison and want to meet up for a coffee, I'd love to hear from you! I've also created a zero waste Facebook group for Madison, since I couldn't find an existing one; you can join that here, if you're local and want to start building a place where we can all meet and swap resources.
The next few weeks will be filled with boxes and tired bodies, a U-Haul and hundreds of miles, a new apartment and a new city. I'll still be swinging by here as usual (with a new post tomorrow, in fact!), and very soon will have more stories to share from my new home.
